    Activation is simple. Once you receive your phone or SIM card, follow the instructions in your welcome kit or go to our online activation portal.

  • Can I transfer (port) my existing phone number?

    Absolutely! Keeping your number is usually simple. During signup or activation, choose the option to transfer your existing number from your previous carrier, and our system will guide you through it.

  • Can I bring my own device (BYOD)? How do I activate it?

    Yes, most unlocked 4G/5G phones work! First, check your phone's compatibility on our BYOD section on our home page.

    If it's compatible, simply order an eq telecom SIM kit. Once it arrives, follow the step-by-step instructions to insert the SIM and set up service on your device.

  • What if I have an eSIM compatible phone?

    Great! eSIM makes setup even faster. If your phone supports it, just choose the eSIM option at checkout or during activation and follow the step-by-step guide. Soon you'll be up and running!

  • How long does activation take?

    Activation is usually very quick, often just a few minutes.

    If you’re keeping your old number from another carrier, that process might take a bit longer (sometimes up to a few hours), but usually it’s done soon.

  • Do your phones support Wi-Fi?

    Some models do and others purposely don’t. For young kids, we offer phones without Wi-Fi to encourage offline play and focus.

    Phones without Wi-Fi limit access to risky apps and websites. We leave if it to parents to to decide when their child is ready for a phone with Wi-Fi.

  • Do the devices include parental controls?

    We believe in simplicity and trust over complicated software. Instead of apps or filters, our phones and plans limit risks by design.

    Our curated phones have fewer apps and some have no Wi-Fi. Additionally, our speed-managed data naturally reduces excessive use. In other words, we give parents confidence through built-in safety features rather than requiring extra monitoring tools.
