Can I use third-party apps like Uber, Maps, or social media?

This depends on the device. Our simple flip phones (BLU Tank Flip, Nokia 2780, HMD Barbie) are designed without app store access or full smartphone capabilities that’s by design. The in-built friction naturally discourages phone over-use.

If you bring your own smartphone on a BYOD plan, all apps work normally. Our plans pair well with BYOD smartphones when you want app access but want the data caps to keep usage in check.
